WGD completed the renovation of the main level Lobby, T Bar, Market Garden Eatery, and Banquet Centre of Toronto's Chelsea Hotel. As Prime Consultant, we were engaged by Great Eagle Holdings Ltd to oversee the permit application, contract bidding, furniture specification, signage, and move coordination. The extensive renovation was successfully completed within the client's tight four month timeline and sequentially phased to allow for the hotel to remain fully operational throughout. Key design features included a new espresso bar, a green wall, and moulded plaster feature wall at reception. WGD assembled a full FF&E package with an approximate value of $395,000. The overall construction value came in at approximately $1.8 million.
