This City of Toronto project, involved the addition of a new arena to the existing historic Leaside Memorial Gardens. The project represents the first new ice pad within the City in over 25 years. In addition to the provision of a new NHL-size ice surface, the project scope included: six new change rooms, a community room, a pro shop, as well as renovations to the existing arena and extensive site work to allow for parking of 280 cars.
