Brian Gregersen received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Manitoba in 1972 and his Master of Architecture from the same University in 1978. After graduation he worked in Winnipeg for three years and was involved in many diverse projects. The following year was spent in Japan on an architectural exchange fellowship with the Shimizu Construction Co. Ltd. Brian joined a reputable Toronto practice in 1981 after returning from Japan and became a Principal of that firm in 1985. He co-founded WGA Wong Gregersen Architects Inc. with Henry Wong in 1990 with special emphasis on institutional, lodging and community-based building types. WGA changed its name in 2005 to WGD.
